Jamie Lee Curtis, Incognito At Evo, Joins Ryan Murphy In Spilling ‘Halloween’-Style ‘Scream Queens’ Spoilers [Video]

Jamie Lee Curtis went incognito in what appeared to be a very early version of her Halloween costume. With her husband Christopher Guest and their two children, Jamie Lee showed up at the fighting game tournament extravaganza Evo 2015 in Las Vegas hidden by masks, reported E News.

Costumed to the hilt, Curtis explained it all on social media.

“Grad trip to @evo2k. 2 stay incognito was Vega who wears a mask. @StreetFighter family. DJ, Dr. Bosconovich, Makoto,” wrote Jamie Lee.

Curtis outed herself once the incognito fun had ended. The translation of that tweet: Vega is from Street Fighter II: The World Warrior; Dee Jay stems from Super Street Fighter II, while Dr. Bosconovitch heralds from Tekken. For Makoto, credit Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.

What’s next for Jamie Lee also has something to do with Halloween – at least the scary part of that holiday. But Curtis won’t be incognito when she co-stars in Scream Queens, which debuts on Fox on September 22.

From Glee creator Ryan Murphy, Scream Queens is already getting a lot of shout-outs of excitement. Jamie Lee made it clear that she’s proud of the success of women in the industry.

“Thrilled 4 @NiecyNash @mgyllenhaal @MsSarahPaulson @JoFroggattshowing grace under pressure, brilliance in complex subjects. Got Talent?” wrote Curtis on social media. “And @MsKathyBates @ImAngelaBassett women doing great work. Proud 2 b working at a time where so many wonderful actresses r getting 2 shine!”

And Jamie Lee is looking forward to shining in Scream Queens with Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Skyler Samuels, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer and Billie Lourde, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Teaming up with Ryan Murphy at Comic-Con, Curtis and Ryan gave some hints about what was to come on the horror-comedy anthology series.

Spoiler Alert!

Halloween meets Heathers,” said Murphy, in a nod to Jamie Lee, who starred in Halloween.

This was the first time that Curtis had attended Comic-Con, and she seamlessly slid into the free-wheeling spirit by announcing that she will honor that role.

“In episode two, there is a wordless homage that I threw in that was me tipping my hat to all you Laurie Strode lovers,” revealed Jamie Lee in her spoiler.

And Ryan gave his own major spoiler, revealing that Laurie Strode will help to flesh out Jamie Lee’s character Dean Cathy Munsch.

“Yes, if you’re going to hire Jamie Lee Curtis, you want to see her kicking a*s and fighting back and doing all of those things that you loved her doing, so we’re writing a scene right now where she’s fighting three killers,” spilled Murphy. “I come at the stuff from a real fanboy place.”

Ryan made it clear that it’s meant to be fun rather than pure horror.

“I wanted to see something irreverent and fun and her being powerful and large and in charge so that’s what we did,” revealed the Scream Queens creator.

As the Inquisitr reported, a new trailer showed Jamie Lee’s killer role in Scream Queens. Or is she the killer? Hints are dropped, but not even Murphy is willing to reveal the truth… yet.
