Kelly Clarkson Rocks Cover Of Nick Jonas’ ‘Jealous’ [Video]
Kelly Clarkson is a woman with a powerful voice, and her performance at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall was no different.
According to Us Weekly, Kelly Clarkson is no stranger to doing fan requests, and while performing at New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on Thursday, July 16, Clarkson did just that. The requested song was Nick Jonas’ big hit, “Jealous,” and boy, did she do one heck of a job with it!
“I’m so excited to sing this song because I love this guy. We’re going to be touring together in Canada after we finish here in the States,” Clarkson, 33, said.
“Are y’all gonna sing? You better sing if you know it.”

While Kelly’s rendition of “Jealous” kicks some major butt, that’s not all fans are loving about the singer. Kelly recently opened up to Entertainment Weekly about her big summer tour, and it looks like she has quite a few big things planned for her 36-city tour, including more fan requests, of course.
“We do a fan request every show, letting someone in the audience pick a song for us to cover. It’s a lot of fun for me and the band because the shows can become monotonous, and this keeps us on our toes.”
Besides fan requests, Kelly stated that she will be adding an “open-mic night” to the show, which will reportedly allow someone in the audience [who submits a video through social media] a chance to perform!
When asked what comes after the big summer tour, Kelly said that she will be back working on new music.
“Touring is always an inspiring time for me. Musically, I’ve really been into old-school R&B/pop and dance tracks, but who knows? My biggest problem is deciding on a musical direction. I love so many different genres—it sucks to have to pick.”
