Bravo Couple Vicki Gunvalson And Brooks Ayers: Not Engaged, ‘RHOC’ Star Denies Report On Facebook

Bravo couple Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers are not engaged, despite recent reports claiming they were “talking marriage.” On July 17, following rumors of an alleged engagement, Gunvalson set the record straight on social media.

On Facebook, Gunvalson explained her thoughts on the “blatant lies” of the media.

“Contrary to this morning’s media reports I am NOT engaged nor planning to get married at this time. Brooks’ cancer diagnosis has nothing to do with the status of our relationship… I have always been very honest and forth coming on the show and with my fans and if something this important were true, you would be the first to know.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, a rumor surfaced earlier this morning, claiming the Bravo couple was not engaged, but rather thinking of the possibility for the future. However, according to Radar Online, Gunvalson’s daughter was not on board with the Bravo couple’s alleged plan.

“Vicki has been talking marriage with Brooks, and wants to make it official. She truly believes that Brooks is meant to be her partner for the rest of their lives. Her kids are grown and have lives of their own, and she is head over heels in love with Brooks.”

While the report claimed the Bravo couple had considered the idea of marriage, it also stated Ayers was not ready to tie the knot. According to the source, Ayers, who was recently diagnosed with stage 3 Non-Hodgkins lymphoma, preferred to wait to tie the knot until he was either in remission, or cured of cancer.

Meanwhile, claimed the source, Gunvalson’s daughter, Briana Culberson, was “seeing red” over the Bravo couple’s rumored plans. As fans of The Real Housewives of Orange County will recall, Culberson hasn’t been a fan of the Bravo couple since they started dating, and even now, months later, she keeps a fair distance between herself and Ayers.

The Bravo couple, who moved in together after Ayers was diagnosed with cancer, has been dating for the last few years, on and off, and is often seen on episodes of the Bravo reality show.
