‘Hawaii Five-0’ Season 6 Spoilers: More Teasers For Steve And Catherine’s Future

Hawaii Five-0 will return to CBS this fall with Season 6, and fans have their focus on one major plot point this summer. The fans want to know if Michelle Borth’s return for the Season 5 finale means a reunion of Steve and Catherine’s relationship. She left the series near the end of Season 4.

The fans have kept asking questions about the pair all summer long. Entertainment Weekly shared a teaser related to Steve and Catherine on Friday, and it appears that fans will see Catherine for at least two episodes of Season 6.

“I know she’s at least name-dropped in the second episode, so I’d say at least two episodes, but hopefully more. In other news, as the hunt for Gabriel heats up, Adam is going to cross some lines that could potentially put his marriage in jeopardy.”

A previous Entertainment Weekly report teased that fans will see more of Catherine and Steve during the Hawaii Five-0 Season 6 premiere. However, their relationship will not be the focus. A previous Inquisitr report revealed that the 5-0 team would go on a treasure hunt during the premiere.

“I hear the season premiere actually opens on a flashback all the way to the 1800s where we’ll see pirates raid Hawaii for millions, which is loosely based on a real story. ‘It took a lot of research to find this account, and funny enough it was discovered after I had started to develop the story,’ EP Peter Lenkov tells me. ‘In the premiere, we will tell whether the story was true of not.'”

However, fans will also see a “huge turn in the McGarrett/Catherine relationship” during the premiere episode. The Hawaii Five-0 cast did return to work filming episodes earlier this month. The CBS Twitter for the series shared a photo from the start-of-season blessing ceremony during the week. Alex O’Loughlin was seen still sporting his summertime beard for the ceremony. Other sources shared photos from the ceremony on July 8.

Hawaii Five-0 has become a solid hit for CBS. The move to Friday night did not kill the series. That night is often called the death night when it comes to television.

The CBS brass wanted Alex O’Loughin on the network. Hawaii Five-0 was their third attempt to find him a series that would stick on the series. Moonlight and Three Rivers both failed. Now this series is ready for Season 6.

What do you think? Will Catherine and Steven work their issues out? Is Michelle Borth back for good on Hawaii Five-0?
