Rachel McAdams Dishes The Dirt On Colin Farrell, Jake Gyllenhaal, And Taylor Kitsch
Rachel McAdams is one lucky actress. She gets to work with some of Hollywood’s gorgeous leading men. Now the 36-year-old is dishing the dirt on working with some of her hottest co-stars.
Most recently, the actress joked that she wouldn’t want to touch Jake Gyllenhaal’s gross Southpaw abs. The actor got incredibly ripped for his role as a boxer for his upcoming film. But even Gyllenhaal’s insane six-pack was enough to turn Ms. McAdams off sometimes.
“He was always greased up and covered in blood so it was like yucky abs! No I’m kidding. He looked amazing. He for sure looked amazing. I mean hats off to him for not just the physical transformation but the emotional, psychological transformation too.”
Rachel McAdams also had to kiss Jake Gyllenhaal within seconds of filming the movie. Director Antoine Fuqua surprised Rachel by asking Jake, who plays Billy Hope, to give her a surprise kiss.
“I literally told Billy to just go grab her, pull her up on the ring and just start kissing her, and she went right there with him.”
Lucky!
Rachel also remarked on how much she enjoyed working with the 34-year-old actor.
“Jake and I have been trying to work together for years and this came up and he was so passionate about it and Maureen is a totally different character to anything I’ve done before. I’m actually a bit older than Jake. It still happens a lot. I think it’s fulfilling some sort of male fantasy, but we’re slowly getting past that.”
The actress also gets to work with Colin Farrell in the popular television series True Detective. McAdams says that she enjoys working on the set because of her “delightful” co-star.
“Working with Colin was a delight. He would come to my trailer for a chat and a cup of tea every day. We got really into chocolate coconut chips.”
Rachel not only gets to work with Colin Farrell, but also with Taylor Kitsch. Rumors have been swirling that the two co-stars are dating. During her interview with Entertainment Tonight, McAdams addressed the dating rumors. Although she doesn’t outwardly deny the rumors, McAdams did talk about how those rumors probably got started.
“It’s funny, the things the Internet likes to proclaim. Weird, right? Weird, weird, bizarre, surreal side of it, but I guess you kind of just have to laugh at a certain point… I find it really confusing, but yeah, it’s an odd little thing.”
McAdams and Kitsch met on the set of the popular HBO series. The rumored couple were spotted having dinner at Osteria Mozza restaurant. Sources told Us Weekly that McAdams and Kitsch are dating and their relationship is “serious.”
