Jenelle Evans & Nathan Griffith Get Engaged In St. Thomas, Watch ‘Teen Mom 2’ Sneak Peek

Jenelle Evans’ fiancé, Nathan Griffith, is seen proposing to the reality star on tonight’s episode of Teen Mom 2, and in a sneak peek, shared by People on July 16, fans are getting their first look at her response.

After traveling to St. Thomas for her birthday, Jenelle Evans plans to go to dinner with Griffith and a few of their friends. During dinner, however, Evans gets a huge surprise, when Griffith stands up and announces he would like her hand in marriage. From there, Griffith, the father of Jenelle Evans’ 1-year-old son, Kaiser, presents her with an engagement ring.

“I just want to let this girl know how much she means to me… Jenelle Evans, will you marry me?”

Jenelle Evans, of course, accepted the engagement, and immediately expressed her shock, telling her man, “I didn’t think you were ever going to do that.”

Following their engagement, Jenelle Evans spoke to MTV News, revealing behind-the-scenes details from her special day.

“We went to a fancy restaurant, and we were just going out to have a nice dinner. Nathan’s brother came the day after [we did]. [We were like,] ‘Everyone is finally here — let’s just go out and have dinner.’ [Nathan] just tapped his glass, stood up in front of the whole restaurant, and made this big speech. How he loves me, he wants to be with me for the rest of his life. And he’s really happy. And then he got down on one knee and proposed in front of everyone.

I was completely shocked. I think I had an idea he would probably propose to me here, but I didn’t know when during the week he was gonna do it. And I didn’t know what was gonna happen or anything. So it was like expected, but unexpected.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jenelle Evans and her fiancé were recently involved in a car accident in South Carolina, but luckily, no one was hurt. As Starcasm reported at the time, Evans claimed to have been targeted by an aggressive driver, but unfortunately, police were unable to determine who was at fault, which meant Evans would have to go after the man’s insurance company if she wanted to have her car repaired.
