‘Star Wars’ LEGO Reveals New Movie Character

The new Star Wars LEGO set has revealed a new character for the upcoming movie. It has left some fans disappointed due to unexpected and unannounced spoilers. However, the name and look of the character has not given away the job or role it will play in the actual movie.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Bricks to Bothans managed to get images of the new LEGO packaging. The Millennium Falcon playset will be available soon, and it will have Chewbacca, Han Solo, and a range of other characters within the set. There were two characters that have never been seen before, and the site owners were instantly intrigued.

One of the characters has not been named. It just says it is a member of the Kanjiklub gang, although no explanation for this gang has been given. There seems to be something else new added to Star Wars VII. The named character is Tasu Leech, and Leech is shown as a bearded, braided LEGO character. The current assumption is that he has something to do with the aforementioned gang, and there is some hostility against the Falcon members.

Representatives affiliated with Star Wars has refused to comment on the name of this new character, or his real look in the movie. The benefit of LEGO is that, while a small resemblance can take place, the main details tend to be shrouded in mystery, unless people have already seen the characters on the screen. There is no confirmation over who will play the characters in the upcoming movie.

For those who love both LEGO and Star Wars, there is some extra good news. The Verge announced that a new LEGO movie will be released in 2018, based on the early life of Han Solo. It will be created by the masterminds behind the original LEGO Movie, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. Risks will be taken in the movie, so the audience will be at the edge of its seat.

The idea of the new movie is to explore Han Solo’s early life, before the Star Wars franchise. It will look at how the character became the thief and smuggler he is known to be when Obi-Wan and Luke Skywalker first meet him.

Some fans are not happy about the reveal of new characters, but the playset gives very little away. While the new character name and gang are known, thanks to LEGO, it is unknown the role that they will have in the new Star Wars movie.
