Bethenny Frankel Discusses New Bridgehampton Home: ‘Everything Here Is Easy’ [Photo]

Bethenny Frankel lost her Tribecca apartment to her soon-to-be ex-husband, Jason Hoppy, shortly after they split, and while the Real Housewives of New York City star continues to fight for her right to the property, she has since moved on to a new home.

On July 15, Bethenny Frankel spoke of the Bridgehampton farmhouse she purchased in April.

“This is the first real home I’ve had in my entire life. I’ve moved around so much. And in the places I’ve rented, I hardly ever wanted to put pictures up because I didn’t feel like it’s mine.”

Since her messy split from Hoppy at the end of 2012, Bethenny Frankel has been locked in a bitter divorce. Although the couple initially planned to split civilly, things between them took a quick turn for the worse, as they both filed for full custody of their daughter, Bryn. While they were ultimately able to come to an agreement for Bryn, their Tribecca home, and Frankel’s Skinnygirl fortune, remains an issue.

According to PEOPLE Magazine, Bethenny Frankel’s new home has five bedrooms, a guest cottage, and a modern kitchen.

“Everything here is easy. I’m not worried about people spilling stuff… In New York, you’re always on the move. Here, it’s more fun to be home.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bethenny Frankel’s lawyers filed court documents earlier this month, revealing why he felt Frankel should be allowed to regain ownership of her and Hoppy’s marital home in Tribecca. While a ruling already gave Hoppy access to the property, Frankel is appealing the ruling, via Radar Online.

Below is a portion of Bethenny Frankel’s lawyer’s statement.

“On March 12, 2010 the parties executed their Prenuptial Agreement in which they mutually waived spousal maintenance from the other ‘both now and in the future.’ The award of any temporary maintenance, even for one year, was error as a matter of law.”

Bethenny Frankel claims that since she was the one who fronted the money for the Tribecca home, she should be the one living in it — not Hoppy. However, at this point, Hoppy remains in the home, where he continues to raise the couple’s child, Bryn, along with his famous ex-wife.
