Jennifer Lopez Bob Symbolizes Changes As J Lo Reunites With Casper Smart & Starts ‘Shades Of Blue’ Show [Photos]
Jennifer Lopez flaunted a blunt bob cut, along with an upbeat attitude, to sizzle this summer. The 45-year-old singer’s Instagram caption made it clear that J Lo has got a new attitude to go with that new haircut, reported MSN.
“Short hair don’t care…,” declared Jennifer.
Lopez may have chosen that distinctly different hairstyle to go with a new career direction, and a reunion with her boyfriend. Yes, that’s right: Casper Smart has bounded back into J Lo’s life. They’ve been seen together in a variety of public outings, making it clear that her boyfriend is back.
In addition, Jennifer has been excited about a new TV show. It’s called Shades Of Blue, and in a semi-true scenario, Lopez is a single mother named Harlee Santos who juggles life as a detective with parenting.
As for Casper, Jennifer was with Smart at the Billboard Music Awards, reported People.
However, when Ellen DeGeneres tried to pry the details of their relationship out of J Lo, the singer/actress tried to evade the real facts on her relationship with Casper.
“Have you ever been at a point in your life where you don’t know?” asked Jennifer in return. “Like you’re not sure about things? Well, that’s all. I am not sure about anything.”
Ellen pleaded with Lopez to say something about the facts of her feelings about Smart.
“I’m a grown woman,” retorted J Lo. “I’ll say it. I’ll say, ‘You know what, this is going down.’ But right now I just feel like? I am me.”
However, Jennifer also showed off a photo of Casper to celebrate #ManCrushMonday, making many followers suspect that Smart is more than just a friend.
Some even questioned whether the split between Casper and Jennifer was faked, as the Inquisitr reported. That’s because during the time that they were supposedly separated, they went to a magazine event as a duo, partied together at a gig, and she even let his dogs pay a visit.
As for her Shades of Blue show, Lopez already is immersed in the work. She even dared to dive into a dumpster, reported the Daily Mail.
It was all part of the job, as Jennifer was apparently told that was her mission not-impossible, involving getting a duffle bag from the deaths of the dumpster before tossing it dramatically skyward.
To be broadcast on NBC, Lopez stars on the 13-episode show with Ray (Bill Wozniak) and Drea (Detective Shirley Nazario). Her detective character, Harlee, has been persuaded to go undercover as a member of the exclusive, elusive FBI internal anti-corruption task force.
The drama portrays Jennifer’s character struggling to take a side against other officers. And just like Lopez’s real life, she also must take on the demands of being a single mother.
