‘Bachelorette’ Brawl: JJ Lane, Ben Zorn Involved In Fight After ‘Men Tell All’ Taping

ABC’s The Bachelorette 2015 “Men Tell All” special was taped over the weekend, and it sounds as if the taping itself was pretty tame. However, there was some drama and even violence after the taping, and fans will be surprised to hear just what happened. Did JJ Lane and Clint Arlis throw down over their dramatic bromance? Luckily, this Bachelorette brawl didn’t involve Kaitlyn Bristowe’s guys facing off against one another, but it was still a rough scene from the sounds of things.

TMZ shares that after the “Men Tell All” taping in Los Angeles, JJ Lane and a Bachelorette crew member got jumped by a group of at least five guys outside the taping after-party. Both JJ and the crew member took several shots to the face, and it seems that Lane’s suit was destroyed. He was said to put up a pretty good fight considering the ambush, but it definitely wasn’t a balanced battle.

Reports indicate that as JJ and the crew member were being attacked, someone ran in and grabbed fellow Bachelorette contestant and fitness professional Ben Zorn. He came out and broke things up quickly. It seems that the police weren’t called, but JJ did go to the hospital. He ended up with two black eyes, and he wasn’t feeling well after the fight. While some worried he had a concussion, so far it seems he’s fine.

GossipCop adds that the Bachelorette brawl attackers remain unknown, and the fight lasted for several minutes. There’s been speculation that the attackers were gang members, but so far there’s been no confirmation of that. While it doesn’t seem that JJ was targeted specifically, it does seem that the attackers were hanging around outside the after-party locale specifically looking for trouble.

Outside of the hospital visit and two black eyes, Lane seemed to have a pretty good time. He’s been active on Instagram since the incident and has made no mention of it himself aside from retweeting a post and photo showing his black eyes.

In fact, both JJ and Ben joined some of Lane’s Bachelor in Paradise stars including Clare Crawley, Tenley Molzahn and fellow Bachelorette contestants Joshua and Jonathan for brunch over the weekend of the taping, and it seems everybody was in great spirits.

Luckily, despite some tensions this season, things never came to blows as the guys fought for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s final rose. Viewers won’t see anything about this Bachelorette brawl on the “Men Tell All” airing Monday night, but there is plenty of other good stuff on the way.

Fans are glad to hear that JJ Lane is fine, and, of course, they wouldn’t mind seeing a bit more of Ben Zorn in action if they could. Ultimately, everybody is relieved that this bizarre Los Angeles fight didn’t end up with more serious injuries.
