Tamera Mowry Expecting First Child

It’s official! Tamera Mowry-Housley of Sister, Sister fame is expecting her first child with husband Adam Housley.

“Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends,” the expectant Mowry-Housley told People magazine. “We can’t wait to meet this little miracle!”

Tamera Mowry-Housley, 33, and Fox correspondent, Housley, 40, were wed last year in Napa Valley. The location was significant for the pair, because Adam’s family owns a vineyard there. The ceremony was filmed for the Style network, which is the network that hosts Tamera and Tia’s reality show, appropriately titled, Tia & Tamera. The show also documented Tia’s pregnancy with son Cree.

At the time Tamera expressed her desire to hold off on having children, but a trip to South Africa changed Tamera’s opinion on that quickly, she told People “It’s just so beautiful there and you get a whole new perspective on life, the things that really matter. Adam and I looked at each other and said, ‘Why wait?'”

Now that her rough first trimester is over and done with, Tamera, who’s also a Fox correspondant like husband Adam opened up about her experience, “I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness — more like evening sickness,” she said. “Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now — more like myself.”

The production of Tamera Mowry-Housely’s reality show is scheduled to return to air on June 10, which will showcase her new role as a mommy to be.

Congratulations to the happy couple!
