Duggar Family Seeks Prayers For Pregnant Anna
The Duggar family is anxiously awaiting the arrival of its newest member: the fourth child for son Josh and his wife Anna Duggar.
The Gospel Harold reports that the Duggar family is asking fans to pray for Anna who is now four days past her due date. A photo posted on the Duggar family official Facebook page shows Anna with her sister-in-law Jessa Seewald, who is also pregnant.
“Well, sweet Anna is now past her due date! First time she has ever gone ‘late’ instead of early!” the Duggar family wrote in the post. “Here she is with our Jessa. Be praying for these girls. Pretty soon we will get to kiss the sweet face of another Duggar grandbaby!”
Anna and Josh recently relocated from Washington D.C. to Arkansas to be closer to the Duggar family in the wake of revelations that Josh had molested five girls when he was 14. While TLC pulled episodes of 19 Kids and Counting and a number of sponsors severed ties with the show, the Duggar family has rallied behind Josh.
The addition of Josh and Anna’s daughter comes at a time when the Duggar family is saying goodbye, at least temporarily, to a few of its members. Earlier this week, Christian Today reported on the emotional farewell that was given to daughter Jill and her husband Derek Dillard. The couple are carrying out the Duggar family’s calling to spread the gospel and will be serving as missionaries overseas.
A video of the event was shared on the Duggar family’s official website. In the video, family patriarch Jim Bob Duggar said while Jill, Derek, and their young son Israel would be missed, he knew they were acting according to God’s plan.
“We are so excited about you guys going overseas to be missionaries, and I know this is something that’s been in both of y’alls hearts for years and the Lord’s brought y’all together for the special time to go impact the work of Christ,” he said.

The Duggar family is also preparing to add an extended member. People reported that Jim Bob’s niece Amy is now engaged to Dillon King. Although Amy does not follow all of the Duggar family’s strict rules, she is a professed Christian and notes that King is as well.
“He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he’s loyal, he’s patient, he’s my best friend!” she said in a post on her Instagram account.
