US Army Recruiting Suicidal Teens?

us-army-suicidal-teens

Look at the sign this way: the other side are, so why shouldn’t the US Army recruit suicidal teens as well? Not sure if it’s shopped or not, but it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that it could be real.

  1. It's actually a Simpsons reference.

  2. Fair enough, but is the photo shopped or not, that's what I can't work out :-)

  3. Another logical choice is that they have chosen bad verbage to show that teens in distress can go to this location. Much like fire houses and other similar buildings allow for runaway teens, lost kids, kids in domestic trauma, etc. to have safe shelter.

I would think this would be a good location for a teen with some suicidal thoughts to go to be talked down (aside from an actual prevention center). The sign gives bad vibe with the choice of words, though.
