A Duggar Is Engaged: Check Out The Ring And Sweet Photos From The Proposal [Photos]
The Duggar family continues to grow, with another Duggar family member preparing to tie the knot. Though not in the immediate 19 Kids and Counting clan, cousin Amy became a favorite of many fans with her outspoken nature and big personality. Now Jim Bob Duggar’s niece will be saying, “I do” shortly as she has announced her engagement to boyfriend Dillon King.
Amy Duggar announced via social media that she is engaged to boyfriend Dillon King. The pair have been dating in a traditional fashion, no courting for cousin Amy, with many speculating the couple would soon take their relationship to the next level. After spending her time tending to Dillon after an auto accident and posting numerous photos of the duo locking lips, it was clear that the two were not doing things the normal “Duggar way.”
Amy was gushing about Dillon as she posted a photo of her new beautiful ring.
“I’m so happy to announce… WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he’s loyal, he’s patient, he’s my best friend! Of course I said yes!! l love you so much!”
Amy wasn’t the only one with kind words about the engagement. Dillon King wrote a note to Amy saying she is the only woman he will “ever truly love.”
“Well everyone…. WE ARE ENGAGED!!!! @amyduggar I asked you to be my fiancee not just because I love you right now. I got down on one knee because you are the only woman I have and will truly love forever.!!! Xoxo”
From the photos it appears that Dillon prepared a romantic candlelight trail to a beautiful setup outdoors where he asked Amy to marry him.
