‘RHOC’ Sneak Peek: Vicki Gunvalson Discusses Tamra Barney, Plans To See A Medium

The latest RHOC sneak peek features a grieving Vicki Gunvalson. During filming on The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10, the longtime housewife tragically lost her mother, Joanne Steinmetz, and as the season continues, fans will see her attempts at dealing with the shocking turn of events.

On July 13, Perez Hilton shared the RHOC sneak peek, which featured a sit-down between Gunvalson and Shannon Beador, during which Gunvalson chats about her relationship with Tamra Barney, and reveals plans to meet with a medium in hopes of communicating with her deceased mother.

“I’m still very guarded, but I know she has a soft heart and I know she’s human and we all make mistakes,” Gunvalson said of Barney in the RHOC sneak peek.

As Gunvalson said goodbye to her mother, Barney welcomed her first grandchild, Ava Ryan. Although the two women have been estranged for quite some time, as the RHOC sneak peek revealed, they are doing their best to get past their issues and back to their friendship.

Speaking of her plans to meet with a medium in the RHOC sneak peek, Gunvalson recalled her first encounter with a spirit, which happened after the death of her father many years ago.

“I don’t know how to do this death thing. You know, I went to a medium about two years ago for my dad. My dad actually came into the room and the medium said, ‘Is there a picture in your hallway that is always crooked?’ And it’s a picture of my mom and dad, and I said, ‘Yes, everyday I have to straighten this picture out, but none of the other pictures.’ And he said, ‘Well, that is your father. He keeps flicking it.’ And then he said, ‘Do you have a bird that taps your window in the kitchen?’ And I said, ‘Tap, tap, tap, tap… constantly.’ He said, ‘That’s your father again.'”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Vicki Gunvalson opened up about her mother’s death in her Bravo blog after the shocking episode aired. Prior to the release of the RHOC sneak peek, Gunvalson paid tribute to Steinmetz in an emotional post to fans.

“We are all still in shock and we miss her so much. She was the rock of our family – she was an amazing mother to all five children, and an amazing grandmother to five grandchildren, and to two beautiful great grandchildren, Owen and Troy.”
