Adam Lambert continued to wow the audience on American Idol this evening (April 21), with a unique rendition of the Bee Gees hit “If I Can’t Have You.” Lambert turned the song into more of a ballad, using his full vocal range in what was again was an impeccable vocal performance.
Lambert performed earlier in the show tonight, so we managed to land reactions from all the judges this time. Randy said he loves how he can sing everything, saying “you’ve got it majorly going on, he’s a hot one tonight, America!” Kara says Adam is brilliant, and calls it “the most memorable performance.” Paula, who looked like a puppy dog during the performance, calls Adam awesome, and says he’ll be in the finals. Simon says that Adam did something they weren’t expecting, that the mix was original and definitely memorable.

It's obvious idol is trying to mimic david archuleta with adam's fake dyed black hair and having him sing
archuleta type songs. NO ONE can come close to the phenom of David Archuleta. David's persona is honest,
pure, inspiring. Adam represents the opposite no matter how much idol tries to sugar coat him and dress him
up in many ways to hide the darkness it still seeps through as fake and dark . He is an Archuleta wannabe as
far as his singing and presence. Idol blew it when they did not select him for the title and they are paying for it now.
Archuleta draws Beatlemania crowds or Archiemania and Idol is trying to find somethilng to fill in their void because idol isn't the same without David Archuleta. Thank God he can stop by tomorrow to lift up their ratings. The world can't wait to see our Archie for he is greatly missed no matter what simon says to cover up his mistake to
justify his decision. He was dead wrong and he knows it. IDOL show died when Archuleta left. That beautiful
presence is gone from that show and it will never return for it only comes once in a life time that NO ONE can
measure up to. No matter how simon and idol try to compose a fake type Archuleta. It will never be the same.

Underneath that fake and phony Archuleta imitation is the true hardcore, raunchy blond haired blue eyed rocker
with no morals and values. Not a good representation for an american idol. Idol could not find anyone during
the audition process that could come close to Archuleta that they have to make up and Archuleta character.
mixed with a cook persona. Idol is so crooked they are pathetic and for ratings they will go to the extreme and
do anything and not admit their huge mistake for not givilng the title to Archuleta. It's too late to apologize for
Archuleta is taking the world by storm as the true American Idol should. Idol has to arrange cook to go on
tour with Archuleta to make it look like he is the one that's drawing the crowds. They are at a loss without
David Archuleta. No matter how far simon tries to go to justify his decision, he will never find anyone to replace
or substitute for Archuleta. Simon and idol people blew it big time and now are paying the price. Now they have
to force adam to be something he is not. All adam wants to be is a rocker not an archuleta type of performer.
Adam Lambert is fake and phony. He should be himself and be proud of his blonde hair and be who he is and
not phony. AMERICA DOES NOT WANT A PHONY IDOL TO REPRESENT PHONINESS.

I think this is the best performance of Adam And the best this season. but I´m agree with gg. Have you seen that every time he sings a song like Archuleta used to sing in American Idol the judjes fall in love with him.
But i also think that he is a Great singer, even if he make a mimic of Archi, he is the only one who really sings this season.

Yea thats why david is bumming on the disney channel these days and lost to the now more sucessful musician that is david cook. Lambert is the best vocalist to ever come through this show and is the only contestant this season who hasn't had a bad week. I remember archie forgetting words, and having 3 or 4 consecutive bad weeks which is why he lost as he should have. Lambert can alter any song out there and make it amazing whereas archie was a one trick pony with imagine basically. If I were adam I'd try and stay as far away from what archuleta did too, cause it was not that great. I don't know what you mean with this dark crap. He displays a ton of emotion, a thing archuleta could barely do if he could even have a full conversation on tv without giggly like a moron even minute. Lambert is the idols of all idols at this point just deal with it. And oh by the way theres this recent rocker guy named daughtry that is doing much better than archuleta as well. If you don't like adam then go listen to david and cry yourself to sleep cause even if he had won idol his stint would be well over with the appearance of lambert.

Adam has a screechy cat voice and cook is screaming right behind him. Mediocre in talent and the drag queen
persona. Cook likes that eyeliner as well. ?????

and would someone please get that black dye off his hair so we could see what he truly looks like in his natural blonde. He's an Archuleta wannabe. Archuleta is matchless no matter what idol instructs adam to do to
fill in the void of archie for this season. It's not the same. won't be the same. Archuleta is gifted and is a once in
a lifetime deal that idol regrets to this day.
