Mitt Romney VP Search Mocked By ‘The Daily Show’ [Video]

Who will be Mitt Romney’s running mate? According to Jon Stewart and “The Daily Show,” no one really wants the job.

Romney hasn’t clinched the nomination yet but he’s already started his search for a vice president. Names like Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Herman Cain, and Condoleezza Rice have been thrown around by the media, but it doesn’t look like anyone is interested in taking the job.

Nikki Haley said: I would say no.

Tim Pawlenty said: I’m not going to be considering that and I’m taking myself off the list.

Condoleeza Rice added: How many ways can I say this, not me.

Stewart also noted that Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush seem to be playing a game of hot potato with the idea.

Bush said: I think that there are many great candidates for the vice presidency. I think Marco Rubio is probably the best.

Rubio replied: That’s nice of Jeb. I hope he’ll say yes if Romney asks him. He’d be a fantastic vice president.

Do you think Republicans are just being polite by nominating their colleagues, or are they trying to avoid being Romney’s running mate?

Here’s the clip from “The Daily Show.”
