Mila Kunis Says Hands-On Dad Ashton Kutcher Changes Every Diaper For Their Daughter

Mila Kunis said she has seen husband Ashton Kutcher become a hands-on dad, bragging this week that the actor changes every single diaper for their daughter, Wyatt.

The pair, who had been dating for years and welcomed their daughter last year, just got married this week. But they’ve been living as a family for quite some time, and Mila said Ashton has been taking an incredibly active role in raising Wyatt.

“My husband is an incredibly hands-on dad. When my child was born, I was breast-feeding and he said, ‘That’s your connection, I want to change every diaper,'” she told The Telegraph.

In fact, Ashton Kutcher became such a hands-on dad that he even took up the cause of diaper-changing dads everywhere. Earlier this year, he shared a petition on his Facebook page calling for more gender-neutral changing stations in public places.

“It seems this idea of diaper changing stations has struck a chord. It’s a pet peeve of mine when people just complain about s–t and don’t do anything to improve their condition. So lets do something. In for equality? Pass it on – ?#?LeanInTogether”

With Ashton’s help the petition topped 100,000 signatures and earned the support of chains like Costco and Target.

Mila Kunis added that becoming a mom has changed her views on a lot, including the place work has in her life.

“I don’t live to work, I work to live,” she said. “I never took my career too seriously before. After becoming a mom, I definitely don’t.”

Mila, who has been a victim of stalking, said she is serious about protecting her family as well. She noted that they keep a gun in the house, but that they are incredibly careful about it.

“My child shouldn’t be as well trained as us, nor should she know there is a weapon in the house—ever. But I respect the gun. My husband grew up in Iowa, and is from a hunting family. He’s worked with rifles his whole life.”

Motherhood has also solidified Mila’s political views, including her advocacy for the diamond trade. Kunis is a spokesperson for the jewelry company Gemfields and has spoken out against child labor used in many diamond mines.

“After having my own child, it puts it all into perspective. The idea of her at the age of nine having bleeding sores and working 20 hours a day for pennies… It’s pure slavery,” she said.

Parenthood has had a big effect on both of them. Mila Kunis and the hands-on dad Ashton Kutcher brought daughter Wyatt along this week to their honeymoon in Yosemite National Park.
