Bobby Brown Welcomes New Baby Daughter As Situation For Bobbi Kristina Brown Worsens

Bobby Brown just welcomed a new daughter with wife Alicia Etheredge, but the situation for his older daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, is looking worse as she remains on her death bed and the family is still at odds.

Etheredge gave birth on Saturday at Ceders Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. It is the sixth child for Bobby Brown and his second with his current wife.

But what should have been a joyous day was instead filled with uncertainty as Bobby’s daughter Bobbi Kristina remains in a hospice. It has now been six months since she was found unresponsive in her bathtub and placed in a medically induced coma, and the stress of her medical situation is starting to take a toll on the family.

There have been reports of strife within the Brown family, including sources who say that Bobby Brown has been a holdout to letting his daughter go and is making decisions without the backing of the rest of the family. The family has also come into conflict with Nick Gordon, Bobbi’s boyfriend, who many believe played a role in her drug abuse.

The situation grew worse this month when an unnamed source began shopping around a picture of Bobbi on her “death bed,” prompting aunt Leolah Brown to write a long Facebook post saying that the family was in no way responsible.

But in that post, she also gave a glimpse into the strife within the family, saying she did not agree with the decision to send Bobbi to hospice.

“I will not say much right now-but please be aware that I am just as shocked as you are when it comes to the status of my niece, Bobbi Kristina even being in hospice period! To the best of my knowledge, she was getting better! From what I knew and heard-hospice was not even a thought in any Brown’s head! I am angry because in my mind (and I will ALWAYS say this as long as God keeps breath in me) Bobbi Kristina WAS GETTING BETTER! Now strangely-all the sudden shes in hospice! Sneaky stuff going on all along.”

The situation appears to be wearing on Bobby Brown as well. Just days before he welcomed his new daughter, he appeared in a concert in Atlanta where he forgot lyrics and at times looked lost, Jezebel noted. Bobby apologized to the audience, saying he was “in a different zone right now.”
