Jennie Garth Marries David Abrams In Small California Ceremony
Jennie Garth has finally said “I do” to her fiancé David Abrams! You read that right, the 90210 alum exchanged vows with Abrams on Saturday, July 12.
According to Entertainment Tonight, Garth and Abrams finally tied the knot Saturday evening in front of close family and friends at her six-acre home in the Santa Ynez Valley in California. The Inquisitr reported on Friday, July 10 that Life & Style magazine broke the news to Jennie Garth’s fans fans that the actress was to wed fiancé Abrams this weekend.
Us Weekly reported that the wedding between David Abrams and Jennie Garth was a quick one as news of the couple dating only broke back in January, and it wasn’t long before the couple were engaged. News broke in April that the two were engaged and celebrated the milestone with a romantic trip to Mexico.
“He took me on a trip to the Carolina’s and we went to this great dinner in this very crowded restaurant packed with people and then all of a sudden for no reason, there was no one in it. Not a waiter or anyone. It was like the world sort of stopped spinning for a minute and it was so quiet. He got down on his knee and did his thing.”
From there, things seemed to simply take off, and with the help of her wedding party, made up of her three daughters, Luca, 17, Lola, 12, and Fiona, 8, the planning process went smoothly. Garth talked to Us Weekly in May while attending Motrin’s “Make It Happen” campaign and said she was very involved and hands-on in the entire wedding planning process.
“I’m working with an amazing designer for the dress which I’m very excited about. We’re sort of creating that together. I like to call the shots and when I know what I want, the best person to make it happen usually is me.”
According to a source for Entertainment Tonight, Jennie Garth’s ceremony was a very secure event, with only close family and friends in attendance. While the ceremony may have been a small one, sources say it was still very eventful.
