Nicky Hilton’s $77,587.50 Wedding Dress Gets Caught In Bentley Wheel, Causes NSFW Flash [Photo]

Nicky Hilton got married, and all folks can buzz about is the fact that Hilton flashed everybody at her wedding, as reported by Yahoo News. The wedding dress, which was a £50,000 designer gown — that’s $77,587.50 in U.S. dollars — looked royally gorgeous with its lace veil and sumptuous train, but that’s the kind of length that can find itself hooked beneath a Bentley wheel, apparently.

According to Harper’s Bazaar, Nicky knew ever since she planned to marry James Rothschild exactly which designer would design her wedding gown — little did Hilton know that dream fantasy wedding dress would get stuck beneath the wheel of a luxury vehicle.

“Ever since I was a little girl I wanted Valentino to design my wedding dress. Valentino is the definition of timeless elegance, I don’t think there’s another couture house like it. I went through every look from their collections over the last 10 years. I studied the archives, and I just sent notes about details I liked—a certain sleeve, a high neckline.”

Apparently it was that train that stretched for three meters — that’s nine feet — behind Nicky that caused the melee. The guipure lace gown, replete with crystals and finished off with a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps — even though the designer shoes had “Mrs. Rothschild” inscribed on the heels.

Of course, Paris Hilton — who’d just made the news online for a plane crash prank that caused her to cry, as reported by the Inquisitr — was there at her sister’s wedding. Paris’ dress got attention as well, but not nearly as much as the wedding dress that Nicky inadvertently got stuck beneath a car wheel.

As reported by People, Nicky didn’t just don one white dress but three white dresses prior to her big day.

The heiress that is Hilton and the heir that is Rothschild tied the knot at Kensington Palace — so prior to the wedding Nicky wore several variations of white dresses. None of those, reportedly, got stuck under the wheel of a Bentley.
