‘Young And Restless’ Shocker: An Overheard Confession May Change Everything [Spoilers]
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Monday’s episode is slated to be a big day that fans have been waiting to see for quite some time. A big secret will finally come out that should really shake things up in Genoa City. What can viewers expect?
The network has been teasing that the Monday, July 13 episode is where “Gabriel Bingham” is finally revealed to be Adam Newman, and Chelsea will now know the truth. How is it revealed and how does everybody react? Fans will have to tune into Monday’s episode to see it all play out, but there are some Young and Restless spoilers out about it now.
TV Insider shares some scoop from Justin Hartley and Melissa Claire Egan, who play Adam and Chelsea. Their Young and Restless spoilers tease that Adam will be feeling so on top of the world over his Newman-Abbott coup and how things are going with Chelsea that he lets down his guard and potentially ruins everything. Though this show loves to tease fans with clips that make it look like something big is about to happen, then have the scene turn out to be a dream or a hallucination, it seems that this one is the real deal.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that after “Gabe” and Chelsea share some champagne and have a sexy romp in Victor’s office, Adam lets the truth slip out. Apparently as Chelsea is out of the room, Adam will be looking at a portrait of Victor, and he will talk out loud about how he’s Adam. Unfortunately for Adam, Chelsea overhears him.
Hartley teases that while Adam could scramble and try to cover up what Chelsea overheard, he goes with honestly at last instead. He may take a moment to try to continue the lie, it seems, but he quickly decides that it’s time to come clean. Adam will finally admit to Chelsea that he’s her presumed-dead husband. She’s been questioning things with Gabe lately, seeing similarities to Adam, but she surely never saw this news coming.
How does Chelsea react to Adam’s revelation? Viewers have seen the previews showing her with tears in her eyes. Hartley and Egan tease Young and Restless spoilers that Chelsea will initially be confused and question why Adam would say what he did. Within moments, she then gets defensive and questions how it could be possible. Egan teases that Chelsea will freak out and get quite crazy, a reaction that fans will certainly understand.
Chelsea will take a few minutes to try to accept this big news, but the questions come pouring in as well. She will question how he lied to her about Delia, and Y&R spoilers indicate that a lot of answers will come on Tuesday’s episode. Both Egan and Hartley say that these scenes are not to be missed and, of course, the truth puts Chelsea in a terribly awkward position.
Will Chelsea tell everybody else the truth? Young and Restless spoilers share that she’ll initially want him to tell everybody he’s really Adam, but as she thinks it through, she comes to decide it’s better to keep the secret. Chelsea and Adam may keep up with the Gabriel Bingham ruse for now, but Jack and Marisa both know the truth too, and it’s unlikely this will stay under wraps permanently.
Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that Jack is expected to recover soon, and despite his bond with Adam, a lot has happened, and Abbott may not want to cover up for “Gabe” any longer. Will Adam and Jack work together to maintain control of Newman-Abbott and get revenge on Victor? Or will the two men find themselves at odds with one another after all that’s happened to Jack?
Fans can be sure that the drama will play out for a while now, and Monday’s episode will be a wild one. Be sure to tune into the big reveal between Adam and Chelsea on the July 13 episode of The Young and the Restless.
