Veena Malik Would Consider Playboy Spread
Veena Malik caused an uproar in Pakistan last year when a nude photo of her showed up on the cover of FHM. The model insisted that the photo was doctored and that she never posed nude for the magazine. But that doesn’t mean that Malik is against showing her body to the public. The model recently said that she would do a spread in Playboy if the price was right.
When asked about posing nude in Playboy by The Mirror, Malik said:
“I’d think about it. Why would I say no? It’s a great opportunity. I’d definitely go for that. That is my job. I am a model and I would consider every single opportunity that comes my way.”
Malik’s willingness to do Playboy came as a surprise to many of her fans. The Muslim community was outraged after Malik’s nude photo appeared on the cover of FHM last year. Malik said that she never posed naked and ended up suing the magazine for $2 million.
“I have never posed nude. I have never done anything like that ever. My manager and legal team is looking into the matter. We will take legal action against them.”
She later told CNN:
“I admit that I have done a bold shoot… but I was not nude. There is a big difference between topless and being nude.”
Malik has been an outspoken advocate for women’s rights in Pakistan. Malik told the Daily Mail last year:
“If a woman is cool with wearing a burqa, she should wear a burqa. If a woman, being a Muslim, wants to wear jeans, then she should wear jeans.”
