First Look: LEGO Rock Band Revealed
It’s official: LEGO Rock Band is on the way. The game was announced this morning and is scheduled to hit store shelves before the end of 2009.
Inside LEGO Rock Band
LEGO Rock band will be marketed as letting you “build a band and rock the universe.” It’s currently under development for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo Wii video gaming systems. Standard Rock Band instruments will work for the game.
LEGO Rock Band’s creators say the game will offer options to customize “minifigure avatars” for everyone from the band to the entourage, roadies, managers, and crew. Songs will include both current and classic titles. Thus far, the following tunes have been confirmed:
Blur: “Song 2″
Carl Douglas: “Kung Fu Fighting”
Europe: “The Final Countdown”
Good Charlotte: “Boys and Girls”
Pink: “So What”
