‘Destiny’: Xur’s Exotic Goods For Weekend Of July 10, Purifier Robes And Eternal Warrior
A new visit from Xûr, Agent of the Nine, to the Tower in Destiny brings some new Exotic armor. PlayStation and Xbox players that roll with Titans and Warlocks can look forward to two previously unsold Exotics from “House of Wolves.”
Xûr can be found in the very back of the bar located underneath the Future War Cult in the hangar this weekend. It’s a long jog, but easy to find. Just turn left when you enter the hanger, go down the stairs to the left, and then straight back. Here’s where you can find him on the Tower map just to be sure though.
Xûr and his items will only be available in Destiny through the morning of Sunday, July 12. As soon as the clock strikes 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT, he will be gone.
The offer of two new Exotic pieces this week means there are only three armor pieces waiting to be sold in Destiny – Bones of Eao, Nighthawk, and The Ram. Until then, players will have to hope that the game’s RNG is kind to them as they try to earn coveted Exotics or get one from yet another Exotic Shard for helmets.
Here is what is available for sale and upgrade from Xûr this weekend. Thanks again to DestinyDB for the Exotic information below.

For those wondering what to get, here are a few helpful hints.
The Plan C is one of the better Fusion Rifles in the game due to its stability and quick charge time. It’s also one of only two Arc Fusion Rifles in the game, which makes it a no-brainer to grab for facing down Arc-shielded enemies or to use in Nightfall when Arc Burn is active. Its perks include bonus accuracy to hip fire, reduced charge time, and fast equip/charge time after swapping weapons.
The Eternal Warrior helmet will not only give your Titan a statuesque look, but it frees up one of the Striker perk columns. The main draw on this Exotic piece is the “Resolute” perk, which provides “Unstoppable” for Fist of Havoc. This allows Striker Titans to go with “Shoulder Charge” or “Juggernaut” instead. While this is primarily a PVP perk, its other two perks are geared towards PVE. “Inverse Shadow” gives more Super energy from killing minions and “Infusion” replenishes health when picking up Orbs of Light.
The 69 Intellect/58 Discipline stat roll for the helmet is pretty good considering the max for split stats on the helmet is 77 each.
The Crest of Alpha Lupi is for Hunters who roll with Hand Cannons as their primary weapons and also favor their special weapon. It comes with two perks to increase the amount of ammo you can carry for both. It shines for team players though, as the “Keeper of the Pack” perk will allow you to revive fallen teammates faster, be revived faster, and drop additional orbs for your teammates when you use your super ability. The introduction of Trials of Osiris has only increased this Exotics value.
The 148 Strength stat roll is around average as a pre-“House of Wolves” roll, but is below average with the new 181 max for chest pieces. The good news is that you aren’t picking up this piece for its Strength stat.
Purifier Robes are the new coveted Warlock piece for Sunsinger Warlocks and is the fourth Exotic chest piece for the Destiny sub-class. Two of this piece’s perks have perfect synergy with each other. “Serpent’s Mouth” reduces melee cooldown when causing grenade damage, while “Serpent’s Tail” reduces grenade cooldown when causing melee damage. Meanwhile, the “Burn Brighter” perk will cause the Sunsinger to burn brighter when activating Radiance from death. This causes nearby enemies to be blinded. This is very useful in PVE when surrounded by enemies, but its effect is not as great in PVP.
The 85 Discipline/79 Strength stat roll is decent enough with the split max for chests at 103. The fact that these are being sold for the first time means it is a must buy for Sunsingers anyway.
