‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Luke Spencer Says Farewell To Helena Cassadine And Hello To A Special Loved One

This week on General Hospital, the farewell to Luke Spencer continues with a huge reveal that may leave soap fans with mixed feelings. One beloved little boy, Jake Spencer, who is alive and well, was revealed on Thursday’s show. This ABC daytime drama is known for bringing people back from the dead and this one is really huge.

ABC has the clip where you can clearly see that little Jake did not die when he was hit by the car driven by Luke a while back. Where has he been all this time? He has been living with Helena Cassadine, of course. The Spencers and Cassadines have been longtime rivals on General Hospital, and Helena has this love/hate relationship with Luke. However, she decided to come clean about the little boy who she has kept from his family all this time.

This was her farewell to Luke Spencer and one last gift for him in the form of his not-so-dead grandson. Jake was a little older but very recognizable. His grandad’s mouth dropped open at the sight of him as the boy ran around with his remote control car. Of course, snarky Helena just had to twist the knife into her adversary one last time.

“How fitting. He hits you with his car.”

Hopefully, it will be explained just how it was that Jake was rushed to the hospital after the accident where it looked like he didn’t make it. Also, Jake’s organs were donated and actually saved Carly’s daughter’s life. Helena has some explaining to do.

It seems that Helena Cassadine has gone soft as she hasn’t yet put up a fight to keep her secret. She told Luke that she would leave him and his grandson to get better acquainted. However, she did have one last thing to say to the infamous Luke Spencer.

“Thank you for all those years of passion that you gave me.”

These two certainly have a long history together. As evil as Helena Cassadine can be, she has always had somewhat of a soft spot for Luke. Her goodbye seemed to seal that fact. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, rumors that Jake Spencer was truly alive and well have been floating around for a while. It looks like those General Hospital rumors have come true.

This news will rock many of Port Charles residents, especially Elizabeth. In previous spoilers, Lucky, Jake’s adopted daddy, shows up at her door. Does he have Jake with him? In addition, there is Jason Morgan, who is Jake’s biological dad to consider. Maybe having Jake back from the dead will boost his memory. Of course, his other son, Danny, didn’t do the trick, but it could be that the trauma of losing Jake and then getting him back will trigger some memories.
