Nicky Hilton To Wed This Weekend, Will Kim Richards Attend?

Nicky Hilton is marrying James Rothschild this weekend, and so far, Kim Richards is nowhere in sight. While a number of members of the Hilton family have arrived in Europe, including Kyle Richards and Paris Hilton, the troubled Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star appears to be in a treatment center in Los Angeles.

According to a July 9 report by WebProNews, Nicky Hilton has been spotted throughout London this week with her mother, Kathy, and sister Paris, and recently had lunch with a friend.

Although it would certainly be a shame if Richards misses her niece’s wedding, it is likely for the best that she stays in rehab. After all, she’s struggled with her addiction to alcohol for many years and recently suffered at least a couple of relapses — one of which occurred at the wedding of her daughter Brooke Brinson.

After returning home from her daughter’s wedding in Mexico, Richards re-entered rehab for what was reported as the third time this year, and ever since, she has continued to receive treatment.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Nicky Hilton’s uncle, Monty Brinson, recently released a statement regarding his ex-wife, Richards, her ongoing recovery, and her family’s support. The statement was shared on Instagram on July 7.

“Regarding the tabloids with Kim is bull s–t I will only explain a few things. People make mistakes everyone of us including and if you looked in the mirror you would have to say the same. Kim checked into voluntary because she wanted to help herself, no intervention or told her too. I’m proud of her because she 38 days sober. So proud of her for doing it in her own. In the tabloids they say the children have abandoned her which is a complete lie our daughter Brooke and her other children are so proud and by her 100% as well as the regarding the last post was that since everything happen she has been offered multiple things. Its not a comeback she been a actress since she was 4. Regarding the housewives she looked at as just a job everyone else was just looking for fortune and fame.”

So far, there has been no official announcement made in regard to how long Nicky Hilton’s aunt will remain in treatment. However, there have been multiple reports claiming she has been fired by Bravo ahead of Season 6.

Nicky Hilton has yet to speak out on the guest list of her upcoming wedding.
