Scott Disick Doesn’t Think Split From Kourtney Kardashian Is Permanent

Apparently, Scott Disick doesn’t think his split from Kourtney Kardashian is going to stick. According to People, in Disick’s mind, over doesn’t really mean over. It’s kind of understandable, given that Scott and Kourtney have been on shaky ground for years.

According to sources, Scott “threw it all away,” and that’s why Kourtney finally ended their relationship. That said, Scott believes that there’s a chance that he and Kourtney may reunite, and that their split is not for good.

From the looks of it, it sounds like Scott is in complete denial about his relationship, and his own health. After checking into rehab twice this year, sources say, “Scott says that he’s doing fine. He says that he is not upset that the relationship is over, because ‘over’ doesn’t always mean ‘over.’ He has left open the door to getting back with her.”

The source continued, “But he’s open to the idea that she may not forgive him and it may really be over for good, and he’s okay with that, too.”

It’s interesting that Scott is keeping the door open for a reunion, because according to reports, Disick snatched up a bachelor pad months before Kourtney left him. The $3.7 million bachelor pad is in Beverly Hills, and it seems to be the place he’s staying at temporarily — that is, when he’s not partying it up.

Sources told People that Scott has been away for a month, and refuses to come home out of fear. Kourtney dumped Disick because she was over his drinking and partying ways, and then the nail in the coffin happened when photos of Scott getting cozy with his ex surfaced.

“He wouldn’t go home, even though people told him to go home to [Kourtney] and his family. Things were already very tense between him and Kourtney. It was one excuse after the other. He said, ‘I just need to stay away for another day to think things through’ or ‘I already have my flight planned.’ The truth is, Scott was terrified.”

The last we’ve heard from Scott was through a post he made for his daughter Penelope’s third birthday. Although he missed the party in Disneyland, Disick wrote “1 of the only things I’m proud off [sic] about myself. Happybdayp.” He attached the message to a collage of paparazzi photos of Penelope.

As the Inquisitr reported, Scott was overwhelmed by his parent duties, which might have also strained his relationship with Kourtney. When Kourtney told him she was pregnant with Reign, he freaked out. The pair have three children, Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, who is now 6-months-old.
