‘Real Housewives Of New York’ Canceled By Bravo? Sources Claim ‘No One Is Safe With The Ratings So Low’

The reality stars of the Real Housewives of New York never seemed to fully connect with each other this past season. From the constant bickering between all eight of the cast members to the emotional ups and downs and rehashing of old storylines, many are beginning to speculate if Bravo might pull the plug on the series for good, especially considering things were sluggish in the ratings department.

Even if the show isn’t cancelled, there likely will be major changes in the cast as the series heads into Season 8. While Bravo has yet to order another season of the show, and hasn’t announced if it will cancel it or not, it appears as though all of the housewives are in danger of being cut from the show.

As previously reported an inside source close to the matter told New York Daily NewsConfidenti@l that some of the cast members will be fired, though producers have yet to decide which ones that will be.

“No decisions have been revealed to the cast yet. Discussions have taken place internally, but why would we tell someone they are fired before the reunion taping?… They wouldn’t show up. The ladies are told that the reunion taping their chance to convince [Executive Producer Andy Cohen] and the other producers that they should be invited back.”

The source added that each one of the Real Housewives of New York stars needs to bring their best during the reunion because none of them are safe. “If anyone holds back or tires to be neutral and mend fences, they will be gone. No one is safe with the ratings being so low.”

Meanwhile, the filming for the Season 7 reunion recently finished. According to Reality Tea, the production of the reunion special lasted an entire day, with Cohen rushing from the set after filming concluded to make it in time for another scheduled filming session with WWHL.

Once the filming started, Dorinda Medley took to Twitter to announce that things were underway. “So you may have heard… #REUNION HAPPENING RIGHT NOW. Won’t tweet tonight! Love you all!!!! Pics Soon!! XX,” she wrote.

With the squabbling between the cast members reaching epic proportions this season, fans will have plenty of drama to look forward to in the reunion special. While the conflict between Carole, Luann, and Heather Thomson is likely to be center stage at the reunion, Sonja Morgan is also planning on putting her issues with her fellow co-stars out in the open, as well.
