‘Young And Restless’ Tidbits: Newman-Abbott Tensions Run High As Tide Starts To Turn [Spoilers]

There’s a lot of action ahead at Newman-Abbott on Thursday’s episode of The Young and the Restless. Viewers have seen how “Gabe” is taking charge and making big changes, but he doesn’t have everybody’s full support. Jack is edging closer to recovering, and there’s a lot to follow in this July 9 show. What Young and Restless spoilers are available for this one?

Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that it won’t take long for Abby and Chelsea to get some pushback on their alliance and deal with the Newman-Abbott client they met. The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Kyle will share how unhappy he is with Abby’s willingness to jump on Gabe’s side, and he gets a bit snarky with Chelsea, as well.

Victoria will be watching Nick and Gabe interact, and soon Billy joins her. They talk about both wanting to knock down Gabe, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate they’ll talk with Nick about whether to bring Abby into their plans.

The trio decides against it, though, and soon Abby and Chelsea show up and are proud of their big deal. However, She Knows Soaps shares that Victoria, Nick, and Billy will all be underwhelmed, believing that the ladies should have pulled together a better deal. From the sounds of things, the discussion gets a bit ugly.

Noah will introduce Summer to Marisa, and Summer will be mourning the fact that this would have been her first wedding anniversary with Austin. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that they’ll also talk about Kevin’s suspicion that Jack’s shooting and the cabin murders are tied together.

Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Noah will explain the background to Marisa after Summer leaves, noting that Marco’s DNA is tied to the case, as well. Marisa will tell Noah that she does know Marco, saying that her boyfriend and Marco ran in the same circles. When Noah asks her to get in touch with her boyfriend, she says that’s not possible.

Phyllis is with Jack at the hospital, and he manages to communicate with her despite his condition. He squeezes her hand, though he won’t do it for the doctor. They communicate about the shooting, though when Adam shows up, Phyllis pretends that there was no progress. The Young and the Restless teasers detail that Adam will have quite a bit to say to Jack, having no idea that Jack is catching every word.

Ben and Ashley will run into one another at the hospital, as she’s there to get an MRI. Ben explains that he’s just learned that he will get his job back, and he’s thrilled to practice medicine again. Ashley and “Gabe” get snarky with one another, while Ashley and Ben seem to be growing closer and closer.

During Thursday’s episode, Phyllis manages to communicate with Jack and get the message that the shooting wasn’t self-defense. However, she also realizes that Jack doesn’t want her to reveal the details to the police at this point.

From the sounds of things, Jack is forming a plan regarding Victor and Adam, and things will explode very soon. There’s more on the way this week regarding Avery, as well, and viewers are quite curious to see where things are headed on this front, especially considering the Y&R spoilers that Avery will be gone soon.
