‘Real Housewives’ Star Vicki Gunvalson Issues Statement, Via Rep, About Her Ongoing Vodka Lawsuit

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson scored a minor victory in her ongoing Vicki’s Vodka lawsuit weeks ago, and now, she’s speaking out about her boyfriend’s removal from the case. On July 9, the Real Housewives star’s rep released the following statement to Radar Online.

“Robert Williamson’s claims against them were so frivolous and it is great to see justice done in this case. Brooks has been through a lot and he is really glad that he can finally move on from this.”

According to Radar Online, the Real Housewives star was sued years ago by professional poker player Robert Williamson III, who claimed that after he went in to business with Gunvalson, she failed to promote their Vicki’s Vodka line. The following month, per Radar, Williamson filed a second lawsuit, claiming Gunvalson’s longtime boyfriend, Ayers, was guilty of “breach of contract, breach of covenant of good faith and fair dealing, misrepresentations, fraud, and omissions, unjust enrichment, civil conspiracy and promissory estoppel.” However, when a judge recently visited the case, they found there was sufficient “evidence that he in no way breached the contract.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, the ongoing Vicki’s Vodka lawsuit is just one of the many struggles the Real Housewives star is dealing with as of late. In addition to Ayer’s battle with cancer, Gunvalson recently lost her mother, and the shocking news was captured for the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

After the episode aired, Bravo, Andy Cohen, and the Real Housewives star faced backlash from fans who felt the moment was personal and should have been kept of the show.

“It’s part of my reality. I lost my mother,” Gunvalson explained of her decision to expose the moment on film, according to E! News.

“I signed up for all areas of my life to exposed—the good and the bad. There’s been a lot of great moments that have been aired and there’s a lot of moments that I wish I wasn’t on a reality show. This is not a moment that I feel, as of right now, that I regret because statistically people are going to lose their parents, right? We’re going to be alive when our parents die, statistically … I don’t blame Bravo, I don’t blame [production company behind RHOC] Evolution, I don’t blame anybody—it’s my life.”

The Real Housewives of Orange County airs Monday nights on Bravo at 9 p.m.
