Watch Conan Reenact ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ On His Way To Comic-Con [Video]

For those that have seen and enjoyed the film Mad Max: Fury Road, here’s a real treat as Conan O’Brien reenacts a scene from the popular movie on the road to Comic-Con 2015 in San Diego.

The Late Night Show host plays the Doof Warrior, complete with fire-shooting guitar, and the whole thing looks hilariously realistic, as he and his announcer, Andy Richter head down the road.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the whole thing happened on Wednesday in preparation for the first of three shows Conan will be hosting at Comic-Con 2015. And what an opening it is to the shows that will be enjoyed on the scene.

The vehicle looks totally in keeping with the Max Max: Fury Road theme, with Richter driving a very realistic impression of the “Doof Wagon,” all the while wearing the appropriate mask.

Meanwhile, Conan himself is hung precariously on the top of the vehicle, playing his fire-breathing guitar. The show’s musical guys play drums solemnly as the Doof Wagon zooms along the road.

As the flames fly from Conan’s guitar, we note that a wiener roast is ongoing too (why waste the flames?) and Richter is obviously enjoying the results, gobbling down his hot dog.

The Inquisitr recently announced all the many and various exciting guests who will be appearing on Conan’s Comic-Con shows, including Elijah Wood, Chris Hardwick, and the casts of The Hunger Games, Game of Thrones, and The Walking Dead. There’s also a mystery guest involved, so it sounds like there will be plenty of fun to be had.

In other related Comic-Con news, the Inquisitr today reported the story of Kevin Doyle, a die-hard Star Wars fan who walked 645 miles to the San Diego Comic-Con, dressed in full Stormtrooper armor, in memory of his late wife, Eileen, and in aid of a charity for children suffering the effects of chemotherapy.
