ASUS G55VW Gaming Laptop Gets Spec’d Out, Priced For Pre-Order

Asus’s popular G-series gaming system is about to get an upgrade by way of the ASUS G55VW and in preparation for that launch the gaming systems specs and pricing have been discovered.

Officially known as the ASUS G55VW-DS71 the gaming laptop features a quad-core i7-3610QM Ivy Bridge chipset which receives some additional help from a 2GB NVIDIA GTX 660M graphical backup.

The gaming system also comes standard with plenty of support from 12GB of DDR3, 1,333MHz RAM and a harddrive that checks in at 750GB HDD. Upgrades are of course available upon request.

Gamers will also receive two drive bays which means the standard setup can easily be upgraded upon purchase or at another time as the first HDD fills up with all of your gaming heads.

Also included is a 15.6? display which should suit gamers nicely when powered by the aforementioned GTX 660M.

While Asus has not officially given a release date for the new G55VM gaming laptop it has been priced starting at $1,475 while pre-orders are now being taken.

It is believed that Asus will start shipping the new systems by the end of the month, but we never hold our breath when it comes to shipment times for new gaming laptops.
