Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska & Jenelle Evans Dish On ‘Teen Mom 2’ Season Six, Leah Messer’s ‘Issues’

Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, and Jenelle Evans were recently in New York City promoting the sixth season of Teen Mom 2, which premieres tomorrow night.

While the entire cast typically promotes the show together, the three women were noticeably missing their troubled co-star, Leah Messer, and during a July 8 interview with Perez Hilton, Kailyn Lowry and the cast addressed their absent co-star, as well as the issues she’s been dealing with as of late.

First, Evans made a point to tell Perez Hilton that there was no bad blood between her and her co-stars (she later took to Twitter, claiming Kailyn Lowry and Houska had left her out of certain events, and were only pretending to be her friend).

“I don’t think none of us have spoken to her quite that much because she’s been dealing with the issues she has but we are all here to support her, and we all get along with her, and we all get along with each other and we wish she was here, of course,” Evans explained.

As for what those issues were, Kailyn Lowry stayed mum, claiming she hadn’t spoken to Messer, despite their previous friendship.

“We wish her the best of luck… I think because we haven’t talked to her, we’re not entirely sure what she’s going through right now, and being that we all live in different states it is hard for her to reach out to us because it’s not like we can just go to her house and help her out.”

As fans of Teen Mom 2 will recall, Kailyn Lowry has been close with Messer in recent years, traveling to the beach together, and attending Messer’s wedding to Jeremy Calvert in 2012. Unfortunately, their friendship seems to come to an end.

While Messer may be distancing herself from the cast, Evans claims she understands, as she’s dealt with similar issues in the past.

“I can definitely related because I went though an issue she went through… I wish she would reach out to us more, just so we could talk. I think she wants to keep as much privacy as she can.”

In recent years, Evans has dealt with drug use, although she didn’t say whether or not that was what she was referring to.

“I think it’s the most different,” Kailyn Lowry explained.

Added Evans, “Yeah, especially because all of our story lines are so different this season.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kailyn Lowry has been faced with rumors of an impeding divorce since the dramatic season trailer was released weeks ago. Luckily, in an interview with Us Weekly, Kailyn Lowry confirmed she and husband Javi Marroquin made it through their rocky times.

For more of Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea Houska, Jenelle Evans, and Leah Messer, tune into the Season 6 premiere of Teen Mom 2 tomorrow night, July 9, at 10 p.m. on MTV.
