A ‘Pretty Little Liars’ Sneak Peek Puts Lesli At The Heart Of The ‘A’ Mystery [Video]

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Pretty Little Liars.

The lack of a new Pretty Little Liars episode may have come as a disconcerting surprise to PLL fans, but Pretty Little Liars hasn’t left their loyal followers hanging dry. A sneak peek into Pretty Little Liars‘ next episode, “No Stone Unturned,” definitely gives PLL theorists a taste of what is to come next week, as well as securing Lesli Stone (Elizabeth McLaughlin) even more into the hot seat.

The Pretty Little Liars official synopsis for the episode confirms that the stakes are getting higher for the liars as well as for A.

“The Liars are on a hunt for proof that Leslie is A, but as the investigation ramps up, A’s threats escalate. Meanwhile, a friend of Emily’s makes her a surprising offer and Spencer is pressured by her family to make an important decision.”

Between the previous and upcoming episodes of Pretty Little Liars, enough has been discovered about Lesli Stone to raise suspicions, particularly after Aria (Lucy Hale) discovered that A is a girl. The girls have often said that “all roads lead back to Radley,” but it seems that presumption may be directed even more precisely, when Pretty Little Liars returns. After all, it seems Lesli has been at the center of all conflicts from the very beginning. Last week, PLL fans found out that Lesli had been in Radley long enough to know Charles and that she had also been Bethany Young’s roommate for a time.

The new Pretty Little Liars clip also leaves PLL theorists wondering just how well Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish) knew Lesli Stone, during her stay in Radley, but what about Spencer? It seems pretty difficult to talk about Radley patients without remembering that Spencer spent some time there herself, yet there’s been no mention whether or not she had ever known Lesli herself. One has to wonder.

After all, all roads seem to be leading back to Leslie Stone.

While Spencer (Troian Bellisario) is ready to convict Lesli, Emily (Shay Mitchell) is just as passionate in her defense of the latest PLL suspect. Could there be a Lemily romance brewing? There seems little doubt that Emily and Spencer will be butting heads over Lesli’s involvement, creating even greater tension in the new Pretty Little Liars episode.

It already seems as though the loose ends are being tied neatly together for fans of Pretty Little Liars. Bethany Young’s death and the disappearance of Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) began this PLL mystery and now, as Lesli is drawn to the liars for answers (and possibly revenge), it seems the story is coming full circle. A neat, little circle.

But what about Charles DiLaurentis? There are still many questions to be answered on Pretty Little Liars and it often seems that showrunner I. Marlene King tosses a new wrench into the works just when PLL fans think they have it all worked out.

Pretty Little Liars “No Stone Unturned” will air next Tuesday, July 14, on ABC Family.
