Kristen Doute Takes Credit For Katie Maloney & Tom Schwartz’ Engagement

Kristen Doute set up Katie Maloney and Tom Schwartz years ago, and last night, as the Inquisitr reported, the Vanderpump Rules couple got engaged. While celebrating the birthday of Tom Sandoval, Kristen Doute’s ex-boyfriend, Schwartz, got down on one knee, requesting Maloney’s hand in marriage. On Twitter, Kristen Doute shared her thoughts.

Kristen Doute, along with other members of the cast, including Jax Taylor and Scheana Marie, were on hand for Maloney and Schwartz’ engagement, hinting the event may be seen on the upcoming fourth season of Vanderpump Rules.

Kristen Doute’s co-star, Maloney, spoke of her impending engagement during an interview with Cupid’s Pulse this past March.

“I’m confident now that a proposal is coming, We’re in the best place that we’ve been in. We went through hell, and we decided that our relationship is important to us both. We’re committed equally to it, and I think we’re more in love than we have been.”

Also during the interview, Maloney discussed the possibility of her and Schwartz starting a family together, revealing that while she’d love to be a mother some day, she and Schwartz aren’t quite ready to take that step.

“I definitely want us to enjoy being married for a bit before we start having kids. And that’s why I want to get the ball moving — I’m young, but I’m not getting younger!”

Kristen Doute and her co-stars celebrated the wedding of Scheana Marie and Mike Shay during Vanderpump Rules Season 3, and if fans are lucky, they will also be seeing the wedding of Maloney and Schwartz. While the event may not happen for another several months, Maloney said in her interview with Cupid’s Pulse that she would love to allow fans to share her and Schwartz’s big day.

As for Kristen Doute, she was previously on the outs with nearly all of her co-stars, but currently, she appears to be quite incorporated in the group. She’s also seemingly split from her Season 3 boyfriend, James Kennedy, who will likely not appear on the show if they aren’t in a relationship.

Kristen Doute and the cast of Vanderpump Rules will return to Bravo for Season 4 later this year.
