Watch India Vs. New Zealand 5th ODI Live Online: Women’s Cricket Series Heads To Tense Decider

While the recent World Cup showed that women’s soccer could be at least as exciting as the men’s version, viewers who watch live online Wednesday will find out that the same applies for women’s cricket, when India and New Zealand battle in the deciding fifth match of their One Day International series that enters the finale tied at 2-2.

The ODI series so far has proven a classic back-and-forth affair. But arguably, the visiting Kiwis have done better to win two matches under unfamiliar conditions, while the India women have not played outside of M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore for their last eight matches.

To find out how to watch the exciting India vs. New Zealand Fifth and deciding women’s cricket ODI live online, see the information at the bottom of this article. The match is scheduled to begin in Bangalore at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8. But that’s 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, United States Eastern Time — 8:30 p.m. Pacific.

In the Fourth ODI, trailing the series 2-1, India rallied to chase down a solid 220 score with eight wickets remaining, sending the series into Wednesday’s decider.

India was led from the front by their captain, 32-year-old Mithali Raj, who posted a confident 81 not out after coming up with just 30 in Friday’s six-wicket loss.

“In the last game, we played within our shells, because we had lost early wickets,” Raj said following the Fourth ODI. “The middle-order was playing under a lot of pressure. We didn’t use our footwork. Whereas today the girls were confidently stepping out and playing the spinners.”

New Zealand’s Sophie Devine — a 25-year-old two-sport star who represents her country on both the national women’s cricket and field hockey teams — has set the pace for New Zealand, tallying 165 for an average of 40.75 out of the Number Five batting slot.
