Kristen Stewart And Julianne Moore Become Models At Chanel Show, Play Craps On The Runway
Kristen Stewart and Julianne Moore became runway models at the Chanel Haute Couture fashion show in Paris, and K-Stew’s latest fashion gig came with a surprise payoff — she won a game of craps.
According to People, Kristen Stewart opened Chanel’s fun casino-themed show at the Grand Palais, and she was joined by her Still Alice costar, Julianne Moore. Kristen rocked a black velvet suit that looked like something Kris Jenner would have in her closet, and Julianne Moore wore a green velvet dress that looked gorgeous with her red hair. Julianne completed her look with a statement diamond necklace, shaped like a shooting star.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Kristen Stewart usually just sits in the front row, looking stylish, at Chanel fashion shows. However, she definitely embraced her new role as a Chanel runway model. New York Magazine reports that Kristen strutted down the runway with a Chanel cigarette holder hanging from her mouth, and she seated herself at one of the couture craps tables arranged around the room. Soon, she was joined by Julianne Moore.
Kristen was photographed celebrating during her game, so Lady Luck must have walked the runway with her.
Karl Lagerfeld recruited a long list of famous faces to gamble at his casino. Other celebrity models included Lily-Rose Depp, Lily Collins, Jemima Kirke, Vanessa Paradis, Rita Ora, Lara Stone, and G-Dragon. Karl’s ritzy casino also included a few old-school slot machines, and his many of the Chanel models were photographed smiling and laughing on his one-of-a-kind runway.

Karl Lagerfeld’s sense of fun is seemingly what drew Kristen Stewart to the Chanel brand. During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar U.K., the Twilight star revealed that she was horrified by the awful fashion folk she met during her early Hollywood days.
“I started out in situations that were quite foreign to me, photo shoots, famous photographers, having to deal with designers. I felt quite out of place and young. And I remember meeting some of the worst people you could possibly imagine. Just soul-sucking, cut-throat fashion people, the full-on Devil Wears Prada.”
Because of her past experiences, Kristen was pleasantly surprised by how warm and friendly Karl Lagerfeld was toward her, and she actually enjoys interacting with her new employer.
“As an outsider, I thought, ‘He’s probably insanely pretentious’; but he’s the opposite of what you’d assume. He’s funny and quick and can talk to you about anything.”
Do you think Kristen Stewart makes a great Chanel model, or should she stick to acting?
