John Legend Sits In Serena Williams’ Box At Wimbledon
This week at Wimbledon looked more like the Grammy Awards than Wimbledon, according to Forbes magazine. John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen rubbed shoulders with Drake, Natasha Bedingfield and One Direction’s Niall Horan as they were all at the All England Club to watch Serena Williams battle her sister, Venus Williams, on center court.
John Legend and Teigen were guests of Serena Williams in her box, and they were enthusiastic; cheering on the top women’s player in her fight to be the queen of the Grand Slam. Just add tennis to John Legend’s long list of interests, establishing himself as the renaissance man of music. As reported in the Inquisitr, John Legend, in combination with the Four Season Hotel, has created “The Legend Experience,” and invited fans (for a fee of $120,000) to join him on a private trip around the world to enjoy food, wine, art and architecture while meeting experts in their field.

At Wimbledon, it was plain to see who had the most clout among the famous faces as Legend and Teigen were ensconced in the Williams box (John Legend is close friends with Serena’s ex Common), while Drake had to sit outside the box. But Legend and friends all had great seats for the 26th career meeting of Serena v. Venus,
As expected, Serena handled Venus in straight sets 6-4,6-3 to wrap up this sister vs. sister meeting. Serena has now extended her Grand Slam winning streak to 25 matches, but her win was bittersweet.
“It’s hard to feel excited about (beating) someone you root for all the time no matter what and who you love so much and she’s your best friend in the world,” Serena said. “It’s never easy but you just play for the competition and enjoy the moment.”
However, the show was not just on center court, but also in the stands for the John Legend and Chrissy Teigen show. The Daily Mail reported that Chrissy Teigen was showing off her “sideboob in a stripy minidress” as their headline about celebrities as Wimbledon. But Chrissy’s eyes were on the Williams sisters and her handsome husband, John Legend.
And Chrissy was clearly excited to be there as she posted a snap on Instagram saying,”Venus VS Serena! Can’t believe I finally get to watch this. Bucket list!”
