‘Big Brother 17’ Spoilers: Week 2 Veto Ceremony Results Are In, ‘BB17’ House In Turmoil

Big Brother 17 spoilers include the Week 2 Veto ceremony results now. The BB17 house is in turmoil, and these spoilers show just how many enemies that the current Head of Household (Shelli Poole) may have created. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, John McGuire won the Week 2 Veto competition after getting placed on the block again. Shelli wanted him to not use the veto, but John made the wise decision to save himself. Every Big Brother fan knows that pawns go home. Now, fan site Big Brother Network has a report on the Veto ceremony, where some exciting Big Brother 17 spoilers have taken center stage.

The replacement nominee that Shelli went with was Meg Maley. Now, it will be an eviction vote between Meg and Da’Vonne Rogers on the Thursday episode (July 9) of BB17. Despite working out a deal with fellow HOH Becky Burgess at the start of the week, Shelli had targeted Da’Vonne for eviction all along. This caused a lot of drama in the house, because it was expected that Audrey Milddleton was going home next. This is what Shelli told Becky, and what Becky then told her nominees as well as the other allies in the house. Those plans have been put to bed now.

The problem that Shelli now has is that she couldn’t decide who to use as the replacement nominee. She started with Meg, then changed her mind and was ready to put Liz Nolan up for eviction. Several people defended Liz, causing Shelli to go back to Meg as her nominee. Shelli then broke a house rule by telling Meg she would become the replacement nominee. This choice has angered the allies of Meg as well as the allies of Liz, who didn’t understand why she would go up on the block. No matter how this week finishes, these Big Brother 17 spoilers make it obvious that Shelli Poole just became a target.

At current count, it looks like Da’Vonne Rogers doesn’t have enough support left in the BB17 house to save herself. It’s certainly possible that the “Last Laugh” twist from Kathy Griffin could help save her, but she would have to do a lot of leg work for that to happen. For Big Brother fans that don’t remember how the twist will work, Griffin placed a phone in the house and the person to answer it the seventh time it rings gets a special power. That power is to override any three votes that will be placed in the coming eviction. It could have been a really powerful twist if the house was actually split on a vote.

All of the veto revelations will play out on the Wednesday episode (July 8) of the show on CBS. At the Week 2 eviction ceremony, it currently looks like Da’Vonne Rogers is going home. After a flurry of Big Brother 17 spoilers coming out over the weekend, it just seems like she doesn’t have the votes to stay in the house. As far as gameplay goes, Shelli Poole just made what could be considered a big move, but it’s also one that could harm her game in Week 3.
