Denise Richards Is Not Replacing Brandi Glanville On ‘RHOBH’ Season 6

Denise Richards appears to be the perfect candidate for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Although she isn’t an actual housewife, the actress lives in Los Angeles, she’s rich, she has children and she’s friends with a number of the cast members. She’s even appeared as a guest star on the Bravo series in the past. But unfortunately, she won’t be joining the show for Season 6.

Each year, ahead of filming, rumors circulate in regard to Denise Richards’ possible future with the show. So, when cast member Brandi Glanville was axed from her full-time role on the series, reports surfaced, claiming Denise Richards could replace her.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Denise Richards’ name was tied to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on July 2. At the time, a source told OK! Magazine, via Celebrity Dirty Laundry, that the actress, who is the ex-wife of Charlie Sheen, would join the ladies, including Lisa Rinna, Eileen Davidson, Lisa Vanderpump, and Kyle Richards, for Season 6.

Days later, the rumor has been shot down.

On July 5, Gossip Cop spoke to Denise Richards’ rep, who confirmed the reports of her joining the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills were “not true.”

As for why Glanville was axed from her full-time role, she claims it was a mutual decision she and producers came to after her role became unnecessary after the possible exits of Yolanda Foster and Kim Richards.

“Last year was a really tough year for me because I felt like I played ball with everyone — I gave my all to the show and then when it aired I felt like, ‘Oh my God, they did me no favors in the editing room.’ I got really upset and a little depressed. But you don’t get a say. They’re making a show — they don’t care about us.

I have so much more on my plate than this show, I talked to producers, I really didn’t want to come back. I have other offers to do other things and I said, ‘Listen, I will come back if it makes sense’ — if it’s with Yolanda or of it’s with Kim. Otherwise, I don’t talk to any of the other ladies, and I don’t like them.”

No word yet on whether or not fans can expect to see Denise Richards in a guest role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6.
