Jaden & Willow Smith Strut Their Stuff At London’s Wireless Festival

Jaden Smith is arguably more famous for his weird and wacky comments on social media and for his outlandish sense of style than he is for his music. Last month, the Inquisitr reported that Jaden took his sometimes-extreme fashion sense to new lengths when he attended a school prom in a dress. None of that stopped a large crowd of music fans turning up to see Jaden and his little sister, Willow, playing at Wireless festival in North London over the weekend.

Jaden and Willow may have been playing the smallest stage at the festival, but rumors that their dad, hip-hop star-turned-actor Will Smith, might put in an appearance ensured that a sizable crowd watched the siblings perform. MTV reports that Will Smith was nowhere to be seen, but mom, Jada Pinkett Smith, watched the show from the sidelines.

As you might expect, 16-year-old Jaden and 14-year-old Willow gave style watchers plenty to talk about. The Daily Mail reports that both Jaden and his sister took to the stage wearing two different colored sneakers. Willow sported one black and one white shoe, whilst Jaden opted for one green and one white.

Jaden completed his look with black skinny jeans and an over-sized T-shirt that hung all the way to his knees. Willow wore distressed black leggings that were full of holes paired with a red and black tank-top. Jaden and Willow drew a number of celebrity fans to watch their set. Brooklyn Beckham and rapper Drake are both reported to have watched the siblings perform.

According to NME, Will Smith chose Jaden’s new radio spot on Apple’s recently launched streaming service to reveal that he is working with Drake to create some new music. Will Smith hasn’t released any new music in a decade, but he also revealed that he had laid down some tracks with Kanye West. It isn’t clear yet whether or not Smith is going to release a new album.

Whilst Jaden and Willow Smith played the smallest stage at the Wireless Festival, the likes of Drake and David Guetta headlined the sold-out festival. Sadly for the organizers, not having a ticket was not going to prove to be a barrier for some music fans who breached the security and forced their way onto the festival site.

Thankfully, no one was hurt in the incident, and organizers said that “this was an isolated incident that was dealt with quickly where no-one was hurt, the perpetrators were removed on an otherwise hugely successful first day.”
