Twins Gave Birth On The Same Day, Hours Before Their 30th Birthday

It’s safe to say that these two ladies always do everything together, as both twins gave birth on the same day, just hours before they turned 30. June 10 and 11 are going to be expensive days for birthday presents in the future!

While the Welsh twins went into labor on different days, the twins gave birth on the same day.

But that wasn’t the end of the coincidences for Katie Bowden and Amy Meredith-Davies, as they both turned 30 on around the same time too. To be exact, Katie was born on June 9 and her twin Amy was born just on the other side of midnight on June 10, but that’s close enough and both twins gave birth on the same day.

On top of this, apparently they both found out they were pregnant on their father Spencer’s, 70th birthday. Katie told Wales Online that on her father’s birthday, they were supposed to be going paintballing as a family outing. But she had just found out she was pregnant and decided to not take part.

“I’d told my mother but my sister had guessed I was pregnant and asked my mother at a family meal revealing that she was too. So within one weekend my parents found out we were both pregnant.”

While both ladies found out they were pregnant on the same day, it was still a surprise when they gave birth on the same day too, as their due dates were actually three days apart.

As can be seen from the photos above, both babies are doing fine and are so darn cute!

Amy, who lives in Neath, told the Mirror Online that they’ve done everything in their lives at similar times.

“Our family are used to it. We got married within a year of each other too.

“Katie got married in June 2012 and I was married in August 2013.”

Getting back to the babies, Ella, weighing in at seven pounds six ounces, was born to Katie at 5:38 a.m. on June 10 in Swansea, while Henry, at eight pounds seven ounces, was born to Amy at 11:15 p.m. the same day in Bridgend.

While it sounds surprising that the twins gave birth on the same day, a search on Twitter reveals that this is not unusual at all. Just recently, several sets of twins have given birth on the same day.

Is that a case of synchronicity between the twins or what? There’s even a painting dating back to 1610 of a similar event.

Talking babies, the Inquisitr noted a while back that a 65-year-old mother of 13 children was pregnant with quadruplets. It seems that lady enjoys motherhood… a lot.
