Susan Boyle My Heart Will Go On (video)

The Susan Boyle juggernaut continues with the Scottish singing sensation performing part of My Heart Will Go On on Larry King Live.

With Britain’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan watching on, Boyle once again proved she has the face of a goblin, but the voice of an angel.

The part I can’t get over is that now she’s world famous, no one has shouted her a haircut or even an eyebrow wax. But that wouldn’t fit in with the narrative, would it? Ever get the feeling there’s more to this story we’re not being told?

Here’s the Susan Boyle My Heart Will Go On video:

“Face of a goblin?” Are you kidding me? Who would write such nonsense?

  2. Face of a Goblin? If you're going to attempt to be funny, make sure it's funny. Otherwise you just come off as a pretentious internet douche.

The lesson we learn from Susan's performance is not about beauty or looks. It's about dignity. It's about prejudging a person based on your own biases. You watch her and you pre judge her and then when she starts to sing you have a tremendous feeling of pride and happiness for her mixed with the shame of having written her off as a joke with out knowing anything about her. Her voice, her talent, her triumph in singing such a beautiful song so beautifuly forces you to recognize her diginity and you are made to feel ashamed of your self in it's presence. It's overwhelming. It's a very humbling experience.

  4. The problem is that with a previous show they had somebody who was “ugly” but authentic. They fixed that person up and suddenly the authenticity was gone. Some of the people with the show said that this time they will do their best to not screw it up ;) meaning leave it like it is.

  5. goblin? What do you look like? A toad? Who do you think you are? I've met unattractive people and got to know the person and their inner beauty made them far more attractive than outward appearance! I've always taught my children don't ever let me catch you make fun of anyone, nor let anyone be mean to someone around you thats being picked on, or be a bully! You always try to help somone like that! You don't know that person! They may be an angel and the good Lord may want to check us out and see how we treat others!

  6. Good one!

  7. Way to go! Where do these people come from? They must have been the bullies in school that preyed on quiet people!

  8. You don't see a picture of DUMCAN oops!!! DUNCAN do you?

“Face of a goblin”? Could you be a bigger jerk? She's not gorgeous, but she's certainly not hideous. She's average, normal, regular, human. She has a heart, at least.

  10. This just creeps me out all together…
Funny how when times are tough we turn to the heartwarming stories to take our minds off of what is really going on in the world.
Sort of like how your life is going so well but you have nightmares that tell you otherwise.
But as for what's his face Piers Morgan asking her out for dinner, that is just too much… way to play this crap up. Enough already, makes me squirm.
