Jenelle Evans’ Fiancé, Nathan Griffith, Arrested On ‘Teen Mom 2:’ ‘I Didn’t Do Anything!’

Jenelle Evans’ and her fiance, Nathan Griffith, engaged in what was reported as a physical assault earlier this year. Although the charges against Griffith, who was arrested at the time, were later dropped, the couple will soon be faced with the altercation yet again when the sixth season of Teen Mom 2 premieres next week.

“All this states is that you’re a victim of a crime,” a police officer tells Jenelle Evans as she signs papers in the Teen Mom 2 sneak peek, shared by Wetpaint Entertainment on July 3. “Tomorrow you’ll be contacted by a victim’s advocate letting you know the process of what needs to be done. She’ll fill you in on all the details of what’s going on.”

As cameras rolled, Griffith was seen pleading for his fiancee to save him.

“Jenelle! Jenelle! Jenelle I didn’t do anything. Jenelle you know I didn’t do anything! Please Jenelle, can you tell them!”

Griffith then insisted to a cop he never got violent with Jenelle Evans.

“I’ve never laid a hand on her, I’ve never laid anything on her, why am I being arrested, because I’m a guy?”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Jenelle Evans’ relationship with Griffith had been strained for weeks leading up to their fight. According to Radar Online, Griffith wanted to leave the reality star and embark on single life but felt he was stuck in the relationship. So, as opposed to breaking up, he attempted to make her break up with him.

“Nathan has been trying to push Jenelle away for months but it keeps backfiring on him. He tries to leave her but then she says she’s going to blackmail him. She threatens to tell everyone about the skeletons in his closet.”

The source went on to reveal Griffith went as far as to create a fake cheating story in hopes of ending their relationship once and for all.

“Nathan thought if he said he was cheating that Jenelle would get mad enough at him to leave. He isn’t cheating on her, he just tried to get her to make a move, but it all backfires on him. He tries to leave and she stands in front of his truck. There is nothing he can do.”

For more of Jenelle Evans and her on-again, off-again fiancé, Nathan Griffith, tune into Teen Mom 2 Season 6, when the series premieres next Thursday, July 9, at 10 p.m. on MTV.
