Teresa Giudice: Prison Fights, ‘Gross’ Food, Fitness Classes Detailed In ‘Real Housewives’ Star’s Prison Diary [Video]

Teresa Giudice is dishing on prison fights, food, and fitness. Although the Real Housewives of New Jersey reality TV star remains behind bars in accordance with her 15-month sentence, Teresa has been busily keeping a diary that can be turned into a memoir, reported Us Weekly.

“It’s going to be about growing up from humble beginnings,” said Giudice’s attorney, James J. Leonard Jr. “She will also tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars.”

For Teresa, life in prison means everything from “gross” meals to yoga classes. Giudice also revealed in her journal that the prison fights are sometimes frightening.

“February, Undated”
“There is a lady in here, she hit her roommate. The officers are up here now to evaluate the situation. She is a crazy lady who fights with everyone.”

But Teresa makes it clear that although some situations bother her, the food really bugs her.

“January 26, Day 21”
“I went to lunch at 10:20. I had tater tots, a soy burger that was so gross and orange! I also had some potato salad. They feed us so much here. I’m going to have potatoes coming out of my ears pretty soon!”

In addition, Giudice revealed that she finds peace in church.

“Great Mass. I enjoy [going to church], it makes me feel good after I go and during. I feel like God is really present there with me.”

And Teresa also makes it clear how much she misses her daughter.

“March 16, Day 70”
“I got an email from Gia. She got an award for perseverance. I started crying at the computer. I was so happy for her, and saying to myself, ‘That is my daughter.'”

To help pass the time, Giudice is taking plenty of exercise classes, reported the New York Daily News.

Teresa is particularly fond of yoga classes, but she also participates in working out to fitness tapes created by The Biggest Loser trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.

Giudice’s diary also makes it clear that she has access to the Internet and to television.

“Woke up at 6:15, went to breakfast at 6:30, had French toast and oatmeal. Checked emails, drank my coffee and watched the news.”

As the Inquisitr reported, while Teresa stays busy with fitness classes, prison fights and gross foods, husband Joe Giudice is playing Mr. Mom at home prior to beginning his own prison sentence. Joe will make $150,000 for that show.

“The last thing Joe wanted to do was a reality show, but it was really the only option because there was no money coming in,” said a source. “With Joe still not working, just putting food on the table was becoming very hard without handouts from their parents.”

The show will feature the couple’s four girls with Mr. Mom Joe. The focus will be on their home life without Teresa.

After Teresa finishes serving her 15-month prison sentence for fraud charges in Conn., Joe Giudice will start his 41- month prison term. The arrangement allows one parent to be at home with their children.
