Bobbi Kristina Brown Sued By Car Crash Victim Who Was Placed In Coma

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s legal woes just got worse, but the comatose daughter of the late Whitney Houston won’t be capable of testifying in the two court cases that her name is currently attached to.

According to CBS News, a Georgia man is suing Bobbi Kristina Brown over an auto accident that took place shortly before Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub. Georgia resident Russell J. Eckerman claims that he had to be put in a medically induced coma after Brown lost control of her SUV and ran into his car earlier this year. He suffered multiple skull fractures and other injuries that required extensive surgery, and he’s suing Brown for medical costs and damages over $730,000.

Eckerman claims that Brown was tailgating another vehicle and speeding before she lost control of her SUV. According to his lawsuit, Brown attempted to change lanes in an effort to avoid rear-ending the car in front of her. Unfortunately, she ended up driving into oncoming traffic and hitting Eckerman head-on.

“Defendant Brown was traveling at an imprudent speed for conditions and was following too closely and improperly attempted to change lanes in order to avoid the vehicle stopping in front of her. Defendant Brown lost control of the vehicle she was operating crossed the center line and collided with Plaintiff’s vehicle causing extensive damage to Plaintiff’s vehicle and serious personal injury to Plaintiff.”

The car accident in question took place on January 27, just three days before Bobbi Kristina Brown narrowly avoided suffering a demise eerily similar to that of her late mother. Eckerman’s lawsuit is another huge blow to the Brown family, but right now they’re likely more focused on the $10 million lawsuit that has been filed against Nick Gordon, Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend. The lawsuit might help the Brown family discover crucial details about what happened in the hours leading up to Bobbi Kristina’s brush with death.

According to PEOPLE, Brown’s conservator filed the lawsuit last week. It paints Gordon as a manipulative, controlling man who physically abused Bobbi Kristina Brown. Nick Gordon is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from Bobbi Kristina and beating her up very badly by punching her in the face, dragging her upstairs by the hair, and knocking out one of her teeth. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Nick Gordon is more than ready to defend himself against these allegations — he’s already put together a legal team that includes high-profile attorney Jose Baez, the man who represented “tot mom” Casey Anthony.

The police investigation into the death of Bobbi Kristina is still ongoing, and Ian Halperin, the author of Whitney & Bobbi Kristina: The Deadly Price of Fame, recently told ETonline that Nick Gordon is worried about what they will discover.

“This is a clear-cut case of negligence, of abuse, of foul play,” Halperin said. “And right now, Nick Gordon is shaking in his boots. I have spoken today to members of Bobby Brown’s family, and they want justice immediately.”

Bobbi Kristina Brown was recently moved to a hospice care center in Georgia, and it’s being reported that death is imminent for the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Sadly, it looks like these ugly legal battles over her final days as a fully-functioning young woman may rage on for quite some time after her untimely demise.
