Teresa Giudice’s Prison Diaries Exposed: ‘RHONJ’ Star Will Share Stories In Upcoming Book

Teresa Giudice is planning for a new book. According to a Radar Online report on July 1, Teresa Giudice’s lawyer, James. J. Leonard Jr., recently spoke to Us Weekly, revealing The Real Housewives of New Jersey star would soon be sharing her prison diaries with fans.

“It’s going to be about growing up from humble beginnings. She will also tell the story everyone is dying to know: what life is like behind bars.”

Teresa Giudice was sentenced to a 15-month prison term in October 2014, after pleading guilty to charges of bank and wire fraud several months prior. Then, on January 5, 2015, Teresa Giudice entered the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Connecticut, where she has been doing time ever since.

Throughout her time behind bars, Teresa Giudice has written of the challenges she has faced on a day-to-day basis.

“I called the girls after school today. I miss them so much. They are all I think about all day long, and I pray that God helps me to go back home to be with my daughters and my husband. Please God, help me.”

When Teresa Giudice entered prison, she left husband Joe and their four daughters, Gia, 14; Gabriella, 10; Miliania, 9; and 5-year-old Audriana, behind.

Also in her diaries, Teresa Giudice spoke of her exercise plan, and recalled a couple of incidents she’s experienced while incarcerated, both good and bad.

“Went to Pilates at 5:30 to 6:30…Head count is at 9 pm…After that going to watch Empire. Then going to call my girls.”

“There is a lady in here, she hit her roommate. The officers are up here now to evaluate the situation. She is a crazy lady who fights with everyone.”

Since entering her 15-month prison term, Teresa Giudice has kept in touch with her daughters both on the phone and in letters, and she’s also gotten to see them on several occasions, despite her being a couple of states away.

“Joe and my daughters are coming. Took a shower…. Did my hair curly especially for my husband. He loves my hair curly.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Teresa Giudice’s husband has also been chronicling her time behind bars for fans — but instead of revealing what she’s going through in prison, Joe has allowed Bravo to film what he and the girls are dealing with as their mother remains incarcerated. According to Us Weekly, Teresa Giudice’s husband’s Bravo series began filming last month and will likely air at the end of this year or early next year.
