WWE News: Vince McMahon Finalizes ‘Wrestlemania 32’ Card?

There is still over half a year remaining until the WWE’s biggest event of the year, Wrestlemania 32. While there is decent chunk of time before the big show, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has reportedly decided on the top six matches that will take place at the event, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via LordsofPain).

Perhaps most notably, former WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan is currently not factored into any plans for the show. He is out indefinitely with neck and concussion problems. His injuries are severe enough that former WWE Hall of Famer Bret “The Hitman” Hart has stated he believes Bryan’s in-ring career is done.

As far as WWE’s biggest full-time draw, John Cena, there is reportedly a match that McMahon has in mind for him. However, the report states that the identity of his opponent is unknown. The past two years at Wrestlemania, Cena has wrestled two younger wrestlers who were looking to cement themselves in Bray Wyatt and Rusev. Therefore, a match with an NXT mainstay is possible.

The Inquisitr reported earlier that Sting vs. The Undertaker is no longer in McMahon’s plans despite both men and fans wanting to see the dream match. But that does not mean that WWE does not have plans for both men. For starters, McMahon is considering a 2016 Hall of Fame induction for Sting. He lives in Dallas, the location of next years Wrestlemania event so that would make sense from purely a geographic standpoint.

There have been rumors that McMahon also wants The Undertaker going into the Hall of Fame next year. Based on that, it’s likely a safe bet that one of Sting or Undertaker going into the Hall of Fame next year as inducting both as part of the same class would not be a smart financial decision.

Finally, McMahon wants to have The Rock at Wrestlemania 32, but the specific role of the “Great One” is still up in the air. Ideally, the reports states that McMahon wants The Rock and Ronda Rousey to face Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Considering the segment all four individuals took part in at Wrestlemania 31, the backstory for the match is already there.

However, with Dana White saying that Rousey will not wrestle for WWE, that match becomes more fantasy that possibility. If that match does not come to pass, the idea is to have The Rock face Triple H in a one-on-one match in the main event. And if the tag team match scenario does not pan out but Rousey wrestling does, McMahon is also looking at Stephanie McMahon vs. Rousey.

But with the obvious obstacles in getting a match or matches like those together, other factors have more control over the situation that McMahon does, so it will be a wait and see process.
