Tiger Woods: Amanda Boyd Affair A Lie, Golfer Denies Cheating With Jason Dufner’s Wife

According to the agent of Tiger Woods, Amanda Boyd’s affair is a lie and it never happened. What makes the rumor startling is that Boyd was married to PGA golfer Jason Dufner until the couple filed for divorce back in March, yet it is claimed that Tiger was prowling through her woods for months.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, Tiger Woods’ cheating past came back to haunt him at the U.S. Open when he was confronted with a banner declaring him a cheater in big, bold letters. He was even mocked by a journalist when Woods’ worst round ever had him matching the senior citizen’s age.

Many tabloid rumors start life with the National Enquirer, and in this case the tabloid is claiming that Tiger broke up with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn only to have an affair with Amanda Boyd for months. While the National Enquirer is not exactly known as the best source for the truth, Larry Brown Sports notes that the “Enquirer is the same publication that blew the lid off the original Woods sex scandal when he was cheating on ex-wife Elin Nordegren. They have gotten stories right in the past when it pertains to Tiger.”

So what did they claim?

“Even though Tiger dated Lindsey for years, he had a ‘thing’ for Amanda,” a source reportedly told the Enquirer. “At first, it was just innocent flirting, but earlier this year it became serious. Amanda is gorgeous, and she’s known as a big flirt with the other players on the PGA tour. I guess her flirty ways and good looks caught Tiger’s eye.”

Story goes on to say that Woods took Boyd to Seattle for a few days earlier in the year. When Jason Dufner found out his wife was cheating on him with Tiger he supposedly was “devastated” by the news. When they both filed for divorce they cited the reason as an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage,” but supposedly Amanda was the one who initially filed while asking for a gross sum of $2.5 million.

So what did Woods’ agent say when FOX asked for a comment on the alleged affair between Tiger Woods/Amanda Boyd? Lies!

“Absolutely 100 percent false,” said Woods’ agent, Mark Steinberg. “Complete lie and fabrication.”
